Ontario Mosaic Artists featured a fun add-on to our Reflections exhibition for the first time. We called it the Marvelous Mini Mosaics!

Through the generous support of Wedi Canada and Artsy Crafts, artists participating in our exhibition were given an opportunity to create two additional mini mosaics. 

These marvelous mini’s are either 5″ x 5″ square or 5″ round, all done on lightweight Wedi board substrates donated by Wedi Canada. They are unframed but ready to hang, and were available for only $99 each! What a great opportunity it was to pick up a piece of original art at an affordable price. 

Wedi Board is a cement-backed compressed foam product, and is an ideal substrate for mosaic artists as it is lightweight, rigid, easy to cut, comes in a variety of thicknesses, and is suitable for use indoors and out. 

Artsy Crafts is a small, woman-owned online business in Ontario carrying a wide selection of mosaic materials and tools. 

Thanks to Artsy Crafts, who sponsored the mailing costs, OMA was able to send 2 Wedi board substrates  and hanging kits to each of the artists.
