2022 Exhibition – Artist Info


 
LESLIE GROVE GALLERY HANGING REQUIREMENTS 
All art must be suitable for installation.

 

  • Ensure works are completely dry, set, cured, fixed, and/or protected.
  • The gallery has a weight limit of 16 pounds (7.3kg) for each piece.
  • Affix a label with title, artist, price, size, medium, year to the back of the artwork.
  • Secure a  D-ring to each side of the work.
  • To ensure that the top of the mosaic does not tilt forward at too sharp an angle when hung, secure the D-Rings no more than 1 1/2″ below the top edge of the work to the top of the D-ring for the gallery’s hanging system.
  • Attach wiring for hanging in client’s home.
  • Sculpture, glass, or 3-D work may require you to supply a stand to mount it on.

 

Leslie Grove Gallery uses this hook on long hanging wires.
The gallery requires secure D-Rings 1 ½” from the top edge of the work to the top of the d-ring.


 

Submitting IMAGES  

  • Provide the best quality image of your artwork for the Leslie Grove Gallery online exhibition/store and for OMA promotional material.
  • LGG does not accept images of framed artwork, please crop images to the outer edges of the artwork or the background of a 3D work.
  • FILE FORMAT REQUIRED*: jpg, .png, 5Mb maximum, recommend 1400px on smallest side, 72 DPI.
  • IMAGE NAMING FORMAT*: You are required to include these details for each image, in the following order – FirstName_LastName_Title_Medium_SizeHxWxD_Price_Year (HxWxD must be in INCHES.)
  • *IMAGES THAT DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIRED FILE OR NAMING FORMAT WILL BE RETURNED TO THE ARTIST TO BE  REFORMATTED.


 

DELIVERY OR SHIPPING

All artwork included in the exhibition must arrive between August 31st – September 3rd. You can either drop off your artwork in person or have it shipped to one of the addresses provided in the OMA Agreement Contract.
An Artwork Identification Label must be attached to the back of each mosaic.
  • It is critical to properly pack your artwork ready for shipping, even if you are dropping it off, as it may be sold and needs to be shipped to the buyer from the gallery.
  • OMA will not be responsible for damage incurred during transit and/or shipping.
  • Please label all of your packaging materials since they will be re-used to return your artwork.
  • A Prepaid Return Shipping Voucher must accompany your artwork if your artwork needs to be shipped back to you. OMA will be looking after returning the artwork to artists in their original packaging, using the prepaid shipping label. Since Canada Post does not offer this service, we suggest using a courier service.
